Formerly of PE but now living in the USA, Clayton Truscott has been a regular contributor to Zigzag for years and has just released a new novella. Although ‘Instruments of War’ isn’t about surfing – Zag Spy’s favourite subject – Clayton does speak our language and has a wild imagination, which makes this a very lekker read. So good in fact that your Zag Spy correspondent finished it in two sittings, one of which he was perched on his porcelain throne and so riveted he couldn’t get off.
