Drugs is not a subject many like to talk about, so for two-time world champ Tom Carroll to come clean about his addiction to methamphetamine, it might just be one of the bravest moments of his life – even more so than his legendary snap at the 1991 Pipeline Masters.
In an interview with Australia’s 60 Minutes, Tom speaks about his addiction, describing it as “a powerful life force inside trying to kill me.”
Although Tom admitted to using drugs from as early as 18 years-old, it wasn’t until 2002 that he became addicted to methamphetamine, and things took a downward spiral.
Tom has since taken steps to get his life back on track, and this interview is another of those on the winding road to full recovery.

Well done to Nick for the brotherly backup = super cool. I would have broken that okes arm as well if it was my bro.
Drugs dealers are simply the lowest form of humanity.
Drug dealers need a market. Supply and demand go hand in hand. So while dealers are scum, the public need to have a stronger will not to stumble.
