A powerful tidal bore on China’s Qiantang River injured dozens of bystanders, when it hit with heavier than expected force.
The tidal bore is a regular occurrence along the Qiantang River, and Red Bull have even hosted a river surfing event there, but with added force churned up by typhoon Trami, this particular bore caught everyone by surprise, reaching heights of up to ten metres.
