Zigzag co-founder and former head of US operations for Billabong, Paul Naude, has gathered together some of his former colleagues and is preparing to launch a new surf brand – according to this report on Swellnet.
This follows a failed attempt to takeover Billabong earlier this year, after he’d put in a bid backed by his investor (equity group Sycamore Partners), following which he quit Billabong to start work on this new project.
They’re yet to give the brand a name, but Zag Spy schemes that if it’s as rad as Zigzag, combined with the experience of his partners and himself, it could be an exciting venture.
