Being landlocked sucks for surfers, obviously. The desire to shred eats away at you to a point that you’ll do anything to smash a liquid lip. Even tear into muddy brown peaks on the Thur river in Switzerland when it’s in full flood. Like these two thrill seekers.
Flood Surfing looks like a bucket-load of fun, especially the dodging debris part (0:23), but the gurgling river rapid wipeouts require some seconds of thought.
