A Renault Clio was discovered lodged in the sand around the high tide mark of St Francis’ Main Beach in the early hours of Sunday morning. It’s driver was nowhere to be seen, but judging by the trajectory and final resting position of the vehicle, this was not part of the plan. Observers suggest either driver error, or a simple case of the driver forgetting to lift the handbrake of their parked car.
