When a fun swell swung into town last week in Port Alfred, Zag Spy was amazed to see Brent ‘Bent’ Hart pull into the carpark on his little scooter with his board and sleeping roll securely attached. Brent had motored 120kms from his home in PE and told us that “red-lining at 10 000rpms and slip-streaming trucks is all part of what needs to be done to catch a wave.”
The lengths some surfers will go to ride some sick waves never ceases to amaze. Stoked you got some, Brent.
Brent ‘Bent’ Hart, stoked to get wet at East Beach.
and he dossed in the back of a boat parked at a locals house, coz they were not there…
Some things don’t change, Warwick. We used to do the same in the ’80’s!!
