TSB Bank New Zealand Surf Festival featuring the Dow AgroSciences Pro Back On At Taranaki

TARANAKI, New Zealand (Thursday, April 12, 2012) – The TSB Bank NZ Surf Festival featuring the Dow AgroSciences Pro has been called on for Round 2, with Round 3 on stand-by. The surf is in the two-to-three foot (1.5 meter) range, with clean off-shore winds grooming the fun sized peaks.

Craig Williamson, TSB Bank New Zealand Surf Festival Director is looking forward to a great day of surfing with fantastic conditions on offer at Taranaki today.

“We have classic conditions on offer at Taranki today,” Williamson said. “The athletes and officials are excited for today’s competition. We have clean waves and we’re looking to run two Rounds if conditions stay like they are. There are some great match-ups today with the young local girl, Gaby Sanson set to take on the reigning ASP Women’s World Champion, Carissa Moore.”
