Last week at Slummies, a humpback whale washed up in front of the Yellow Sands caravan park – just a few hundred meters from the beach break. Whale carcasses are a well-known magnet for sea life – including big grey aqua ninjas. Yesterday (30 August) at Yellow’s, Jason Leppan sent his drone out for a hover and snapped this shot of a shark (or just something dressed-up in a really convincing shark costume)… A warning to boardriders that Yellow’s may still be having a sea party – so keep your eyes skinned and take precaution.
