They have been highly successful in their quest to use surfing to change lives. Share The Stoke Outreach surfing games is going to be hosting its second annual invitational tag team surfing event on Sunday the 13th November 2016 at Muizenberg in Cape Town. A team of five – ten surfers from each of development programs that Share The Stoke support will engage in friendly competition. Sixty-five kids will partake in the event.

In total there are ten development programs throughout the Cape Town area:
- Waves For Change
- 9 Miles Project
- Johnsons Surf
- Learn 2 Surf
- Surfer Kids
- Surf Outreach
- Surf 4 Life
- Choose To Care
- Projects Abroad
- Save Foundation
A select, special group of ten of the children’s mentor’s will be having a surf contest of their own. These mentors have played a big role in the lives of the development surfers. They will no doubt be using this as a chance to show off their talent and create a bit of friendly competition between the clubs.
