Here’s a great way to support the invaluable Shark Spotters programme in Cape Town AND spread some stoke, while scoring something epic at the same time;
A photography exhibition and auction to raise funds for Shark Spotters as well as the Children’s Hospital Trust will be taking place from 5:00pm this Sunday, 22 November at Primi Piatti in Muizenberg. There you’ll not only have a chance to bid on one of the 12 epic large-framed prints by a dozen of SA’s top ocean photographers (including Zag’s photo editor Alan Van Gysen), but for just R250 you’ll be able to purchase one of the 100 winning entries in the #MyCapeCoast Instagram competition. For every #MyCapeCoast print purchased, an identical print will be donated to the Children’s Hospital to brighten up their wards, so in turn you’ll be stoking out the kids that are receiving treatment.

Entrance to the exhibition is free, while food and drink will also be available. Cash is king, of course, but payments for prints can also be made via SnapScan and EFT at the auction.
