Launch of World Surfaris Africa brings exclusive surf travel options
The premier surf travel company World Surfaris is delighted to announce the establishment of World Surfaris Africa (WSA). The launch of this exciting initiative will take place at Home Bru Graft Café in uMhlanga on 23 February at 2.30pm for 3pm.

World Surfaris Africa has committed to powering all the travel for South Africa’s core online surf and travel store – Pollywog. Through this exclusive partnership, World Surfaris Africa will facilitate all the travel arrangements for the unique surf trips offered by Pollywog. This means that African surfers will now be able to access some of the world’s best surfing holiday packages for both domestic and international destinations at very competitive prices.


In addition, clients who book surf trips through the Pollywog website will receive substantial discounts on all Pollywog merchandise. The discounts are available on a wide range of surf clothing, artwork and accessories such as wetsuits, surfboards, backpacks, watches, sunglasses and lots more.

Lead surf guide and travel advisor, Ryan Ribbink has an intimate knowledge of all tides, currents and surf conditions from Durban to Mozambique. Ryan also has a great relationship with locals in all the top surfing spots and ensures every visitor gets the full cultural experience during their trip.

Richard noted that World Surfaris has an excellent reputation as a good corporate citizen and is committed to giving back to the community In Australia, World Surfaris assists in supporting several charities including Surfaid, The Board Meeting (a disabled children’s charity), Multiple Sclerosis Queensland and Movember. “We are in the process of selecting charities which World Surfaris Africa will support, as this is a fundamental part of the company’s ethos,” he said.

For the past two months, Pollywog has been running an online competition to win a unique surfboard painted by renowned artist, Ant Dodd’s. The winner will be selected randomly and announced at the World Surfaris Africa launch.

An electronic media pack will be available for media attending the event, as well as a R1 500 off voucher which will be given away as a spot prize to a media representative on the day.
