Shark Attack at Jongensfontein
According to a report on News24, a 29 year-old surfer was attacked by an estimated 4 meter shark while surfing at Sandstrand, Jongensfontein, in the Western Cape this afternoon (6 July).
The species responsible for the attack is yet to be identified, but the surfer is in a stable condition after being treated for two serious lacerations to his upper left leg and knee.
