Whilst on a recent surf trip to Sumbawa, Jared Hersch and friends took it upon themselves to give back and made a positive impact between getting slotted by cleaning up the Lakey Peak beach. By documenting his efforts, Jared gains entry into our Tuffy Beach Clean-Up competition, which puts him in the running to win a brand new shred stick compliments of Firewire and Share The Stoke Foundation.

“While on a surf trip to Sumbawa, Indonesia, we took some time out of our day to help the folks of Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii to clean up the Lakey Peak beach. We got a lot done, even inspiring some of the locals to get involved! If each surfer takes one hour of his or her week-long trip to clean up the beaches, you cannot believe what a difference it makes!” – Jared
