After arriving at his local beach, Cave Rock, this Bluff local thought that he wouldn’t be able to fill a single Tuffy bag with litter after having a brief look around. Turns out he was wrong, as Kevin Kettle found out that we’ve become accustom to the little bits of litter scattered all around us. By documenting his efforts, Kevin gains entry into our Tuffy Beach Clean-Up competition, which puts him in the running to win a brand new shred stick compliments of Firewire and Share The Stoke Foundation.

“I chose to clean up one of the most Iconic surf spots in KZN, Cave Rock. After I grabbed my Tuffy Bag, all amped to do this clean up on a lazy Sunday, I looked around and thought “Shit there is not enough litter around here to fill this bag, how am I going to enter this comp?” I started my attempt none the less…”
“WELL… It seems we have become accustomed to overlooking litter around us. Turns out I found a lot more rubbish than I thought, and what started out as a small chore become self fulfilling. I was stoked that I could play a part in keeping my backyard clean, fit for the backdrop of the Cave Rock Barrels.” – Kevin Kettle
