With the XXL Awards set for May 3 at The Grove Theatre in Anaheim, California, the world’s best big wave surfers are set for a night of massive prizes and huge disappointment for those that just miss out winning one of these prestigious awards.

Former XXL Award winner and SA’s big wave celebrity Grant ‘Twiggy’ Baker is up for the US$20,000 Pacifico Paddle-In Award for his monster wave caught late last year at California’s downright scary Cortes Bank.
