Two of SA’s Qualifying Series campaigners get their 2015 season underway today at the Volcom Pipe Pro. Both Dale Staples and Davey Van Zyl have put in impressive performances at this event over the past two years, and they’ll be looking to take another step towards a spot in the final in 2015.

It’s not going to be easy though, as not only is Pipeline one of the trickiest and most brutal waves in the world, they’ll also be up against 9-times Pipe Master Kelly Slater and John John Florence, who has won this event three times (in a row). That’s before you mention the rest of the stacked field of Pipe specialists and WQS warriors who’ll also be competing – 102 of them.
