Entries Open for first Billabong Junior Series Event 2015

Entries are now open for the first event of the Billabong Junior Series 2015, which is set to take place at Magna Tubes in Jeffreys Bay between 13-17 July. There’s a host of international entrants included in this year’s lineup and if last year’s event is anything to go by, you can expect some fierce competition and non-stop competitive action from the best groms in the business.

Check out last year’s highlights here:

The event is the longest running junior series in the world, having already hosted 51 individual events which have helped boost the future of SA surfing since its inception in 1997.

Kom local, York Van Jaarsveldt was a standout during last year’s event held at Seals.

There are seven divisions ranging from U12 – U20 which will see the country’s top up-and-comers battle it out for the prize money, as well as the WSL Pro Junior Rated points which are on offer for the U20 divisions.
