The ASP have their eyes set on a pair of storms that are promising big things over the next few days. One is heading straight for Tahiti, where the Billabong Pro Tahiti is set to kick-off, and the other is aiming towards Cape Town, where Dungeon awaits.
Frank Solomon is also eyeing out the charts, hopeful that Dungeons gets the green light.
The expected 20-25ft swell has encouraged the ASP to put the Dungeons BWWT event on yellow alert, with Tuesday looking like the day it could happen.
The swell is predicted to peak at 3.9 metres on Tuesday morning.
Along with current BWWT champ, Grant ‘Twiggy’ Baker, there are also a number of local chargers who’ve been given a chance to compete in the event via a wildcard slot.
