The 3rd annual Air Off will take place at Strand Beach on the 15th of September, and is a jetski assist surf and bodyboard competition. A modelling, art and photography competition will also be added to the mix this year. This year sees 2 Air Off’s nationally to maximize exposure for the sports, riders and other contestants.

AIR OFF 2012 – Strand Beach 15th of September
Will be the Competition event. It is a Core event for the riders and local community and businesses. The winners and finalists will automatically gain entrance to the Plettenberg Bay Demo event. The prize giving and after party will be held at the same location.
Official After Party – 15 September – Nameless Pub
The rider prize giving will be held at Strand Beach to end off the day. The evening will see the official after party happening at the Pure Filth event at Nameless pub in Somerset West. For ticket bookings online please email to:
Exhibition + Screening – Cape Town – 26th September
On 26 September there will be an exhibition at 87 Comercial Street where the winners of the model,photography and art competition will be announced. Their final works will be displayed, afterwards there will be a screening of the 2012 Air Off event where the rest of the night will be filled with some of the best local dj acts to finish off the night.

AO 2012 Plett DEMO
Will be a demo and marketing event to promote the sport and all parties involved. Riders will demo the radical moves that were portrayed at the competition event in Strand.
PLETT Rage After Party
Pure Filth Sound and Events will be hosting the official after party, at Plett Rage on Dec 1st, with a prime location in front of the beach and riding area at Plettenberg Bay. The venue will be converted into a beach style island house. With local acts and djs keeping everyone entertained. Stay tuned to hear who the mystery guest will be.
