Surfing Makes a Difference – featuring Nobel De Castro

Surfing is saving lives in Muizenberg, where hundreds of disadvantaged kids from the surrounding communities of Ocean View, Masiphumelele and Mitchell’s Plain have been taught to surf by the likes of Waves for Change and at Gary’s Surf School – a fixture in the area since 1989. For some, like Nobel De Castro, surfing has became a way of life; something that has kept him off the streets and motivated.
