Stop Animation Surfing – By Grant Hewitt

For his second entry into Zag Shorts, Grant Hewitt decided to do something a little different: a stop animation of a lego man who hits his local for a shred-session in clean, miniature perfection! Being a stop animation, the video was pieced together frame by frame, with Grant having to adjust the ‘mise en scene’ (everything in the frame) ever so slightly between photographs to create the motion you’re seeing.
