15 Year-old Sebastian Williams, who’ll be representing South Africa at the upcoming ISA World Junior Champs in October, has qualified for Round 2 of King of the Groms (KOTG) – Quiksilver’s world-wide hunt for the world’s best, young, well-rounded surfers.
“The seven surfers with the most votes, plus three others voted by Jeremy Flores, Dane Reynolds and Craig Anderson as worthy of inclusion, will meet at a secret location between 1 – 14 November for a live webcast of the surf-off,” Sebastian’s father Tim Williams told Zag. “First prize is US$20 000, 2nd gets US$10 000, plus various challenges will pay US$1000 a piece. That’s a lot of Rands and Seb could do with that kind of support.”
Check out Sebastian’s entry below, then pop over to the KOTG site and drop him a vote.
