With its silky white sand dunes and blazing blue skies, Lambert’s Bay makes for a picturesque seaside fishing village on the West Coast of South Africa. Aside from living off crayfish, stalking the African Penguins at Bird Island and rubbing blubber with the small Heaviside Dolphins, endemic to this stretch of coast – Lambert’s Bay also offers some cooking surf and this weekend, 14-15 May, the crowds will be pulling in and quiet ‘crayfish country’ will be firing with the Vans Surf Pro Classic. Glad I no longer live there. Zigzag spoiled this place before by publishing Dante’s peak…. Which is actually called famous last words. Boland bodyboarding contest and now this. Just leave the comps in cape town yoi chop.
Hey Dutchie – rather hang-out in Montague Gardens and surf your local break, Table View.
These look like pics of ebay and other spots on the west coast. Any pics of the event site?
Epic comp. Good to see saffas given a shot at more QS points. haters gonna hate.
