Following persistent rain in the Eastern Cape, swollen rivers burst their banks and deposited fresh layers of sand into the bays and beachbreaks in the area. And some spots reaped the benefits of the extra grains more than others by shaping them into temporary ‘superbanks’, which the local crew were quick to discover and enjoy when the sun came back out on Friday last week.
