After the excitement of Julian Wilson’s final showdown with local favourite Jordy Smith at the Mr Price Pro Ballito, SA surf fans now swing their attention to the Jeffreys Bay Open of Surfing presented by Billabong, which kicks-off tomorrow and runs till this Saturday 13 July.
And although it won’t feature the drama of a world title race, it will involve fierce (& friendly) local rivalries, as SA’s best (both competitive and freesurfers) look to grab the bragging rights of ripping SA’s best wave the hardest.
