Gone But Not Forgotten – Vaughan Jones Memorial Paddle Out

Hundreds gathered at The Pipe in PE yesterday (3 August) to pay their respects to local legend, Vaughan Jones, who passed away while surfing last week.

    Thank you to everyone to took the time to join the paddle out in memory of my brother. Our family has simply been overwhelmed by the support shown the the whole surfing community. Thank you.

    This is such shocking news. I worked with Vaughan for 8 years in the days before he returned to PE to get back to his beloved waves. A true gentleman to the core. Malcolm Jones can you click thru to my FaceBook and private message me a phone number for Jill and the kids?

    Fondly remembered working with him, Cliff and Kitty in Mafikeng — a really decent guy who checked out way too soon. Sorry to hear this. Condolences to the family. I know his recent friends will miss him most.
