With an ISA World Surfing Games gold medal recently hung around his neck, Durban’s Davey van Zyl is a pro surfer on the rise.
Starting from a solid base of powerful rail surfing, Davey’s been pushing his turns higher above the lip, more powerfully on the face and getting slotted deeper with each passing day, and he’s taken his act onto the WQS where he looks to continue making name.
