Clean Water And Empty Peaks: An African Adventure

Ismail Benlamlih (aka Smail) is a 23 year old Moroccan surfer, yoga teacher and traveller who shmaaks to surf empty peaks and help people along the way. For the past few months Ismail, together with his cameraman Mehdi Boutaleb, have been travelling through Africa. Using local transport, they have crossed through five countries: Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal, Mali and Ivory Coast where they have stopped to surf and install water filters along the way – assisting in many villages’ access to clean water. Because money doesn’t grow on beards, the cameraman is forced to go back home and Smail will continue his journey solo to South Africa. If you want to help these dudes continue their noble trek and get more water filers check out the video below and support their Kickstarter Campaign to create a web series HERE.
