On Friday 19th June, the annual Cave Rock Invitational – in which surfers and bodyboarders compete head-to-head at one of KZN’s most notorious spots – was contested in great three to four-foot conditions on Durban’s Bluff. These are some moments from the event as the surfers tried hard but failed to match the aerial antics of their prone counterparts, with Hawaii’s Jacob Romero taking the title in the all-bodyboarder final.
