In November last year, Frank Solomon broke his back while surfing in Ireland; which makes this giant barrel he scored at Mullaghmore Heads yesterday even more impressive. “This was my first time paddling Mullaghmore,” said the Hout Bay charger of yesterday’s session. “It was my first wave, and maybe the best paddle wave I’ve ever had in my life. Stoked!”
