The el Jimador Agave Surf Classic presented by Zigzag and Mahala was a real blast at Bloubergstrand on Saturday, 7 June. The unique event featured competitors trying to out-maneuver each other on boards crafted especially for the comp out of agave wood – the same fun plant they use to make el Jimador.
By the time the dust settled, Tarryn Chudleigh was crowned the winner. Her prize – to keep whichever of the five agave boards she wanted. The single fin was a good choice.
