Leg 2 of Zag Shorts Is On!

Ever wanted to make your own surf film? Ever dreamed of shooting an all expenses paid surf trip with Zigzag? Well stop dreaming and start shooting because the second leg of Zag Shorts presented by GoPro is on!

Mathew Gardner’s ‘Jacko’ featuring Brandon Jackson is one of this month’s entries.

Zag Shorts is our short movie competition with some epic prizes up for grabs. The rules are few with the main criteria being that the video must be surf-related in some way and not more than 5 minutes long. From a documentary-style edit to an animated short, there are hardly any restraints on the creative concepts that you can come up with.

In the first leg, Josh Rowe’s Skeleton Bay Sandpit took top honours, and competition for the July leg is already well underway with a GoPro Hero camera, SD card and handler going to the best entry. All eight of the monthly winners will also go into the running for the main prize, which includes R20 000 in cash (to help pay for that new DSLR you’ve been after) as well as the opportunity to document an all-expenses paid surf trip with Zag.

Competition closes 31 January 2016. Go to zagshorts.co.za for more info.
