With each issue of Zigzag, we have been giving away a quiver of three custom surfboards shaped by one of SA’s best shapers to one lucky reader.
To win them, all you’ve got to do is find the Golden Ticket in your copy of the mag – like Nathan Spalding (11) did when he found the ticket in his copy of Zag, which he’d bought at Durban Surf Coffee Shop early last Sunday morning.
“Strange how things work out,” said Nathan’s father, Kim, when e-mailing through evidence of their lucky find. “Nate is one of the groms that waits for Spider in the dark each weekend morning (as you mention in the Spider Murphy article in the latest issue). He would have made me buy the magazine anyway, but he was keen to check out that particular article.”
They’re lucky they did, because Nathan is now the recipient of three custom boards shaped by Dennis Ellis of the Boardroom.
HOW THE GOLDEN TICKET GIVEAWAY WORKS:
Every issue one Golden Ticket with a unique winning code gets randomly inserted into a single copy of Zag, which then gets distributed to an undisclosed destination somewhere in the country. It could end up in the postbox of a subscriber, or perhaps on the stands at your favourite surf shop or local newsagent. The giveaway continues throughout 2014 and to stand a chance of winning the quiver, you just need to make sure to go out and buy the mag. Better yet, you can subscribe and get the Golden Ticket delivered straight to your postbox, maybe.
