Have you been getting barrelled since 1 April? If you have and one of your sick tubes have been captured on video, enter it into the Monster Pitstop and you can win a share of over R80 000 in cash and prizes.
2014 Pitstop finalist, Matt Bromley, working on this year’s entry yesterday.
The Monster Pitstop powered by Zigzag in association with O’Neill, Vestal, Skullcandy and Neff is SA’s ultimate tube riding competition. Monthly prizes are awarded to the surfer and the videographer who uploads the sickest pit for each of the five event legs. The competition is open for entries on monsterpits.co.za and the first leg commences on 1 June, with the winner announced at the end of the month.

Each of the four monthly winners decided by the public and voting panel will then go into a shootout for ‘Pit of the Year’, which will see the overall winner score R25 000 cash and some epic prizes from Vestal and Skullcandy.
A quick glance at the forecast for later this week became a blank stare in the Zag offices today, we were hypnotised by the magenta blob staring back at us. A swell of this magnitude offers plenty of options, and some serious barrels, so we won’t be surprised to see some Pitstop entries after this weekend.
Just make sure you capture your ridiculous tube on camera, and you could win big!
Look at those colours, so pretty! Up to 7.4m on Saturday according to swell.co.za
And if you’re keen to grab a wettie to celebrate the incoming swell, then join us at the Monster Pitstop Launch Party at Yours Truly on Kloof Street in Cape Town this Thursday.
