There’s only one thing better than winning a free surfboard, and that’s winning THREE!
Stoked Salt Rock grommet Jerome Rautenbach (8) was the lucky reader to find a Golden Ticket in his copy of Zag issue 37.3, winning himself a quiver of three Safari Surfboards shaped by the legendary Spider Murphy.
Jerome remembered his newly-planted surfing roots, however, and unselfishly chose to share his quiver with his father Hoffie Rautenbach, and cousin Justin Rogers – who’d given Jerome one of his boards to learn on a few years ago.
“What a special morning!” mentioned Jerome’s proud mom Debbie when she mailed us these photos of the lucky trio meeting with Spider to collect their boards.
If you’re lucky enough to find a Golden Ticket in your copy of Zag, then you too could be enjoying a ‘special morning’, when you go to collect your quiver from another of SA’s finest shapers, Peter Lawson, who is sponsoring issue 37.4’s prize of three Gotcha Surfboards valued at over R10,000.
There’s no ‘enter here’, or ‘SMS now to stand a chance’; If you find the Golden Ticket, you’re a winner.
So, be sure to go grab a copy of Zag issue 37.4, which will be on sale from next week, or better yet, subscribe to Zag and get the Golden Ticket delivered to your postbox, maybe!
* We still have FIVE quivers from SA’s best shapers to give away, one for each of the next five issues, so chances are good that you’ll find a Golden Ticket in one of your mags.
