I own a RE/MAX property franchise and I am involved in property sales, rentals, and holiday accommodation.

To be honest, I just put the radio on when I drive down to the surf. But I like some older stuff – Sublime and Jack Johnson.
BEST SURFER IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW?
I am too out of the picture to know. There’s so many great surfers, but my money is on Jordy as the best there is.

WHICH SPOT DO YOU HAVE TO SURF BEFORE YOU DIE?
I have surfed a few great spots in SA, Indo, NZ and Oz, but have to surf Skeleton Bay in Namibia at some stage – this year could be the one!
WHEN YOU ARE NOT SURFING, YOU CAN BE FOUND WHERE?
At work or on the beach with my kids and the next generation of rippers.

The process of dying.
BEST SURFING MEMORY?
So many good memories and the joy of creating new memories in surfing keeps me excited. If I can say Top 3 rather, they would be:
1.) A SA Junior Team trip to Brazil in 1992.
2.) A few Indonesia trips.
3.) Getting proper barrels at firing Supers.
