Hailing from the surf-stoked town of Gonubie in East London, this wave assassin was once just a low-scoring wave away from being crowned World Grommet Champ. He has also claimed numerous ‘Wave of the Day’ awards at his local Point – which is the home break to a number of past SA Champions. With achievements like that, he easily earns a spot in our Surf Ninja army.

BEST SURFING MEMORY?
Competing at the World Grommet Champs in Narrabeen, Australia, and getting a 7-second barrel in the finals. I came fourth, but so stoked to have that moment deposited in the memory bank.
