And that’s a wrap on the 2017 edition of The Striped Horse Challenge, what a wild ride it was for most of us and especially Derek Horlock who took home the bacon. Also jumping on the prizes was Josh Redman who bagged the biggest beating award, I’m sure his R5000 and case of Striped Horse beer was enough to ease the pain. The South Coast kid Derek walked away with a comfy R30 000 cash courtesy of Striped Horse, a return ticket to Hawaii on Zag and R30 000 worth of surf accessories from Hurricane Surf.

To close out the comp a good old fashioned razzel was held down in Cape Town at The Striped Horse Bar in Muizenberg. Thre was plenty beer, banter and general good vibes to go around. Till the next instalment of the Striped Horse Challenge, FROTH ON!!
