We are into the final stretch of the Monster Energy Pitstop powered by Zigzag in association with O’Neill and iON Action Cameras, with the fifth of five finalists to be decided at the end of the month. The Monster Energy Pitstop is a purely tube riding comp open to all Saffas, and if you’re looking to get your hands on this month’s prize as well as being in with a shot at the ‘Pit of the Year’ grand prize worth R30 000*, then get your entries in ASAP.
Matt Bromley will be aiming for the win with one of these sick tubes.
Looking to claim the last spot in the finals before the ‘Pit of the Year’ winner gets decided is Kommetjie’s Matt Bromley, who has submitted three sick Cape Town tubes filmed by Tao Farren-Hefer into this month’s leg. Bromdog is up against some strong competition however, with the likes of Grant ‘Twiggy’ Baker and underground charger Nils Von Delft also in line for this month’s win.
Nils von Delft’s entry into the final leg is a serious contender.
The December leg winner will take home a R5000 hamper from O’Neill (for the surfer) and an iON Air Pro WiFi Lite worth R2500 (for the videographer). The winner will be announced early in the new year. In the meantime, go to monsterpits.co.za to view all the entries and vote for your favourite.
* Pit of the Year prize includes:
• R15 000 to the winning surfer
• R10 000 to the winning videographer
• An iON Air Pro 3 WiFi worth R5 000
