Just like the Beatles back in the day, Durban seems to be producing hit after hit. Ready to collect on these delights was none other than Jordy Smith who managed to score, what many are dubbing, the wave of the day down at New Pier. At the crack of sparrow fart the line up was already chokka with Neptune’s team of early risers, ready and waiting to bask in his blessings. The past two days have seen some outrageous waves as we move into cyclone season here on the East Coast. Time to cross fingers, heads, knees and toes in hope that what we have received over the past 48 hrs is a small taste of what is to come.
