Filling the Blanks – with Miss Zag contestant, Aisha Dramat

Zag in association with Rip Curl and Reef Brazil will be embarking on a roadshow in January to meet the Miss Zag contestants first hand, before announcing a winner and shooting the calender to top all calenders with our gorgeous winner. Each week we’ve also been asking our contestants to ‘fill in the blanks’, so that our readers can get to know them a little better too. So, we’ll leave the introductions to the contestants – meet the lovely Aisha Dramat:

Hi my name is Aisha, but you can call me Aish, Aishy or Bush baby (because of my big eyes)!

To make a living I am currently studying, hostessing and modelling part-time, but I’d rather be famous;)

The funniest thing I ever saw was when we went sandboarding a couple of weeks ago and we decided to race each other in pairs, sitting on the boards going down a massive dune. Needless to say, this ended with my two best friends somersaulting and then face planting in the sand.

My favourite item of clothing is my brown booties, but I would swap them any day for sandals and the beach.

The last time I went to work (which is right next to the sea) – lucky me;), I saw a group of dolphins dancing and performing in the water.

Out of all my friends Nicole has been the one who has mastered surfing, which inspires me to get into the water!

If I’m not at Café Caprice, working, you can catch me having a blast with my mates.

I think surfers are sexy, talented, brave and hard-working, but are not given enough recognition and are far too brave;)

I’d love to one day skydive, but you’d never catch me bungee jumping – not sure I trust those ropes.

If I had three wishes, I’d wish to live a happy life, have a family full of love and to be successful in whatever I choose to do!

I have a pet 3-legged dog that I rescued from the SPCA called Joey (cutest little dog in the world)

My most embarrassing moment was when we went to our first social ever at the beginning of high school and as I arrived into the room where everybody was mingling, I managed to slip in front of the entire crowd.

My ultimate dream is to travel the world while working in the fashion industry, but if that doesn’t work out I’ll just settle for a job in the best city in the world – Cape Town.

Not talking about this girl per say, but the standard of this years Miss Zag is shocking… Quite embarrassing actually.
