Nearly 90 gorgeous ladies have entered Miss Zag 2013 in the hopes of being crowned SA’s Ultimate Beach Babe – as well as winning a mass of great prizes from sponsors Rip Curl and Reef Brazil, plus a quiver of surfboards and a trip to Mauritius for two – and with prizes like that, Miss Zag really is the ultimate beach babe competition.
In order to help the judges decide which of these lovely ladies should be crowned queen of the beach – we’ve asked them to fill in the blanks. This week we meet East London’s Kirsten Forsyth, who despite once almost drowning, appears to be a bit of a snorkeling addict.
Hi my name is Kirsten Leigh, but you can call me Kirst!
The funniest thing I ever saw was my dad returning home from work to change his pants, after he’d bent down at work and split them.
The last time I went snorkeling, I saw a baby seal swimming underneath me.
Out of all my friends, I still think my parents are my best friends – they are always there to lift me up, or support me 🙂
If I’m not at work, with my family, or doing promotions, then you can catch me running along the beach, doing beach pilates, soaking up the sun, or shopping till I drop.
I think surfers are unique and different, but are the most amazing and vibrant people I have met.
I’d love to one day surf, but you’d never catch me alone in the water.
I secretly have a crush on Patrick Lambie, even though I think he has a girlfriend.
I have pet dogs (twins) called Abby and Bella – it’s like having twin human babies.
My most embarrassing moment happened while I was snorkeling – this puffer fish swam towards me and gave me such a fright that I swallowed water, then I nearly drowned after I started choking!
My ultimate dream is to be successful in life, but if that doesn’t work out, then I must at least love what I do.
