The Crew from the 10 Days and 10 Nights Project, the same guys who brought you Deep Blue \ Middle C are putting together a festival aptly named Feral Fest. It will all be taking place in and around Elands Bay from the 20 to 22 October culminating in a Feral Fest inspired lineup of bands.
The theme for the 2017 Feral Fest is Coddiwomple, a word that Ryan ‘Bugsy’ Heathcote coined;
It means “To travel with purpose to an unknown destination”
Things going down include:
Dane Dodds ( who built the giant kreef ) will be making a giant isopod / ‘dune buggy’ in the camp site
B-boy workshops by world champs Ubuntu B-Boys with the local kids ( and anyone else who wants to join)
Living Labs will be doing a freshwater citizen science workshop / exploration of the river.
Jack Parow is gonna have a rap battle with the local kids
Tree planting will take place in and around the campsite
A wild food foraging with Roushanna Gray
