Bianca Buitendag is an inspiration to the masses due to her highly successful surfing career and remarkable personal achievements. She is the only female South African on the World Championship Tour and earned a career best of a fourth spot finish last year. But as 2016 draws the a close, Bianca is lying 12th on the rankings and has one last chance to surf her way to requalification for 2017 – the Maui Women’s Pro which begins on the 23 November.
