As surfers who engage in the ocean daily, it is our duty to be at the forefront of the journey towards cleaner beaches. Nobody wants dolphins and turtles choking on plastic. No sir. We want beautiful clean beaches that our children’s children can enjoy. So without further ado, the winner of the first Tuffy Beach Cleanup award goes to Dean Knox.
Dean cleans the beach frequently and runs a charity teaching those less fortunate to surf and respect the natural environment we live in. The world needs more people like these! From the team here at Zag, inspired by Beyonce, we’d like to all say, “You go girlfriend!”
