SEPTEMBER - Pack your boards for the Mentawai Islands
It’s September, and we are no longer in the prime time southern hemi winter. This makes your options (of finding waves) a bit trickier, as many of the south facing zones can be fickle during this time.

AUGUST - Pack your boards for Mauritius
The Forgotten Island Of Santosha has one very famous wave, and many others. Surfers go to Mauritius to try and score Tamarin Bay. It is the best wave on the island, but that’s not to say that it is the only wave in the area.

JULY - Pack your boards for central Chile
Venturing into South America is a weird an unsettling experience. Bus stations are organized chaos and Airports have a loose feel about them. Not as bad as the airports in Indonesia, but similar. The waves are different though, kind of like a combination of Indonesia and Ireland. Let me explain.
