Oakley South Africa will be holding their O.C.A.M.P team weekend on the beaches and waves of St Francis this weekend. Oakley’s kick ass team riders who are going to be present at this team training camp are Royden Bryson, Davey Weare, Tammy-Lee Smith, Stacy Guy, Greg Emslie, Lungani Memani, Shaun Joubert and Matt McGillivray. The camp is the brainchild of World Tour veteran, Greg Emslie, who has recently retired from full-time competitive surfing and is now looking to offer his leadership and experience having been on the elite stage of competitive surfing for almost a decade.

"This camp has been two years in the making," said Oakley Team Manager Emslie. "Surfers often don't get the professional training, coaching and advice that they need to take on the best in the world. I feel that the results our surfers are getting do not reflect on their talent at this point in time. We have some of the best surfers in the world on our Oakley Africa Team," continued Greg. "They are capable of beating absolutely anybody, and our camp will help them to achieve the greatness they deserve in 2010."

"I hope to work on the changes I need in order to improve my surfing," said Davey Weare. "I'm sure that with the help of Hynsie and Greg, as well as getting filmed and criticized, I'll be able to leave the camp closer to how I want to see myself competing and surfing."

With good conditions predicted for the weekend, it looks like the surfers are going to all get lucky and score some Eastern Cape bombs. If you happen to be in the area and see a bunch of guys doing some big boosts with O's on their boards, come over and say hello, and watch some of the best surfers in the world pushing their surfing as hard as they can.
