Matt Bromely swoops down an inside peak. Although I never
witnessed his sessions out here earlier in the year he looked pretty
comfortable today and is only gonna get more confident and charge even harder with time.

Although not as big as some of the days earlier this winter the
sets still got the guys scrambling for the horizon when they did come
through.

Mad Mike Baleta on one of the earlier ones of the morning. Very windy, and making it look too easy!
|
|
 |
|
Frankie Solomon doing another of his Mark Healy impersonations. Frank said he wanted to try a slightly shorter board this day as it was really windy but recons the gamble didn\'t pay off. He creased it on this one and had to call it a day.

Barry Futter, waving to his friend\'s in the channel, and John
Farrell share a dark, gloomy one. Barry just missed our boat leaving
the harbor in the morning so had to catch a ride out with one of the
charter boats that take tourists to Seal Island and jump off that,
much to the amazement of the guests on board.

Jem Johnson on a nice, relatively, clean one. Jem and Frankie Solomon have really been pushing it on their backhand out there and I\'m sure will be grateful for today\'s session before they head to Mavs in a few weeks time.

|
Mike Schlebach on a clean one. The weather was pretty nasty most the day with strong NW\'s and squalls. This was right about the time it looked like it was brightening up giving the water that deep green colour. It didn\'t last long!

This is the same wave of Mike\'s from the previous shot, a few frames later. Unfortunately, the barrel did pinch, otherwise would have been a spectacular sequence.

Things can turn ugly very quickly at Dungeons Reef. Sammy Leith with the wipe out of the day, airdropping, connecting, then skipping backwards while looking at the lip bearing down on him.

Jacque Theron wrestled his way through this one, fighting the wind and a couple big chops to the channel.
