5.5 metres at 15 seconds were the buoy readings today, 11 February, as Sunset in Cape Town threw up some of the biggest, cleanest walls in years. A hardy paddle-in crew took on the bulging A-frame peaks, but some waves were beyond paddling into. Sean Holmes undoubtedly snagged the wave of the day, if not the year, with an ultra-clean tow-in on a 30-foot plus set.
